Chocolate Strawberry Fudge

It’s Valentine’s Day week y’all and we’re here with this yummy Chocolate Strawberry Fudge! This fudge is like eating a chocolate covered strawberry, absolutely delicious. Let’s get this ball rolling!

Directions

Shortbread

  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 310°.
  2. Prepare a baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. Start by making the shortbread. Combine the softened butter, Nature’s Flavors SweetenFX Sugar, Nature’s Flavors Organic Vanilla Extract, and the salt in a mixing bowl.
  4. Add the almond flour until the dough forms.
  5. Press the dough onto your prepared pan.
  6. Using a fork, make small pricks all over the dough
  7. Place it in the oven for about 30 minutes or until the edges reach a golden brown color.
  8. Once the shortbread has baked, place it on a cooling rack and allow it to set while you make the fudge.

Fudge

  1. Prepare a baking pan with parchment paper and spray it with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
  2. Combine the butter, heavy cream, marshmallows, Nature’s Flavors SweetenFX Sugar, and salt in a large saucepan. Stir all of the ingredients together on medium heat.
  3. Once the mixture comes to a boil, stir in Nature’s Flavors Organic Vanilla Extract and Nature’s Flavors Organic Strawberry Extract. Keep stirring until everything is well combined.
  4. Turn off the heat and add in the chocolate chips. Stir until the chocolate chips completely melt.
  5. Carefully pour a small and even layer of fudge onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Scatter pieces of shortbread throughout that first layer. Then add another layer of fudge and another layer of shortbread. Repeat this process until all the fudge is gone.
  7. We added red sprinkles to really get us into that Valentine’s Day spirit!
  8. Allow the fudge to set for about 5 to 6 hours.

Heart Fudge Brownies

Directions

  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 350°.
  2. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper, making sure to extend it over the edges of the pan. Set aside.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt the butter and chocolate chips over low heat. Make sure to stir consistently to avoid the chocolate from burning.
  4. Once the chocolate has fully melted, turn off the heat and allow it to slightly cool.
  5. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine the eggs, Nature’s Flavors Organic Sugar-free SweetenFX Sugar, Nature’s Flavors Organic Vanilla Extract, and the brown sugar.
  6. Stir the egg mixture into the chocolate mixture. Mix well.
  7. In a separate small bowl, sift the almond flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix well so that all the ingredients are well combined.
  8. Fold the flour mixture into the chocolate mixture.
  9. Spread the batter into your prepared baking pan and bake the brownies for 35 – 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Allow the brownies to set on a cooling rack.
  11. After the brownies have set, use a heart cutter to cut the brownies out.

Ingredients

Gingerbread cookies

  • Brown sugar (¾ cup)
  • Large egg
  • All-purpose flour (3 cups)
  • Nature’s Flavors Organic Vanilla Extract (1 teaspoon)
  • Baking soda (1 teaspoon)
  • Nature’s Flavors Organic Molasses (⅓ cup)
  • Softened butter (¾ cup)
  • Black pepper (½ teaspoon)
  • Ginger (ground, 1 tablespoon)
  • Cinnamon (ground, 1 teaspoon)
  • Cloves, (ground, ½ teaspoon)
  • Nutmeg (ground, ¼ teaspoon)
  • Salt (½ teaspoon)
  • Zest of orange
  • Fresh ginger (grated, 2″ piece)

Gingerbread cookies

  1. In a large bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and Nature’s Flavors Organic Molasses until it becomes fluffy. We recommend mixing for about two minutes.
  2. Beat in the egg and Nature’s Flavors Organic Vanilla Extract until everything is well combined. Set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl whisk the flour, baking soda, salt, and spices together.
  4. Slowly begin to add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients with the mixer on medium speed.
  5. Then, add the orange zest, fresh ginger, and black pepper to the mixture. Don’t overmix the ingredients though.
  6. Divide the dough into two equal halves. Wrap them up with plastic wrap and allow them to chill in the refrigerator for about 2 – 3 hours.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350° and prepare two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  8. Place a piece of parchment paper on a stable surface and lightly flour it. You’ll be rolling out the dough here.
  9. Set the dough onto the parchment paper and place another piece of parchment paper on top of the dough.
  10. Using a rolling pin, roll our the dough until it’s about 1/4″ thick. Cut out the gingerbread men with a gingerbread cutter and transfer them onto the baking sheet.
  11. Bake the gingerbread cookies for about 9 to 10 minutes or until they are slightly puffed.
  12. Allow them to cool completely before decorating them with icing.

Icing

  1. In a medium bowl combine Nature’s Flavors Organic Corn Syrup Replacement, Nature’s Flavors Powdered SweetenFX Sugar-free Sugar, Nature’s Flavors Pure Organic Almond Extract, and soy milk. Mix until all the ingredients are well combined.
