Equipment

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 8 Skewers
  • 1 Cooking Pan

Ingredients

Cornstarch Slurry (optional)

  • 2 tbsp Cold Water
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch

Instructions

  • Add the mango puree, garlic powder, onion powder, lime juice, and cilantro using a food processor or blender. Blend until smooth.
  • In a small saucepan on medium heat, add the mango chili syrup with the blended mixture to combine. Stir occasionally to avoid the mixture sticking to the pan. (If the mixture doesn't thicken, add the cornstarch slurry for a thicker consistency.)
  • In a large mixing bowl, add your raw shrimp and marinade. Place the bowl into the fridge for at least 30 minutes to allow the shrimp to soak up the flavors.
  • Remove from the fridge and place the shrimp on skewers or pan fry them and serve with rice. Skewer shrimp and grill for 2-3 minutes per side until shrimp turn pink and opaque.
