Pumpkin Bread + Caramel Glaze

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt 
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 1/2 sticks Unsalted butter, softened
  • 15 ounces Pure pumpkin
  • 2 cups Nature's Flavors SweetenFX for Beverages
  • 2 Eggs

Caramel Glaze

  • 2 cups Nature's Flavors SweetenFX for Baking
  • 5 tablespoons Milk
  • 1/8 teaspoon Nature's Flavors Organic Caramel Extract

Instructions
 

Pumpkin Bread

  • Begin by preheating your oven to 325°F. Grease a 8 x 4 in. loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, add 2 cups of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • Next, comes the ground cloves! Add 1 teaspoon of ground cloves, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1 teaspoon of ground nutmeg. Whisk them all together.
  • Set the dry ingredients aside and in another mixing bowl, add 1 1/2 sticks of softened butter and 2 cups of SweetenFX. 
  • Using an electric mixer, combine the sugar and the butter together. It may still be grainy but that's okay! 
  • Add 2 large eggs to the mixture. Beat well!
  • After the butter and sugar mixture have reached a fluffy consistency, slowly begin to add the pure pumpkin.
  • Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Mix well!!
  • Transfer your batter into your prepared loaf pan and place it in the oven for 65-70 minutes.

Caramel Glaze

  • Combine the SweetenFX, milk, and Nature’s Flavors Caramel extract in a mixing bowl. Mix with an electric mixer until glaze begins to thicken. 
  • Once the pumpkin bread cools for about 30 minutes, glaze it with the caramel glaze and enjoy!
