How to Easily Flavor Coffee Beans

Catch the Flavor Guy showing you how flavor coffee beans using our Flavorings for Coffee and Tea.

To begin, start out with a set level. You may want to add more flavor, you may want to add less flavor. We recommend using approximately 7 1/2 ml (1 1/4 tsp) to 1pound of coffee.

In this video, the Flavor Guy uses our Organic French Vanilla Flavoring. It’s made with natural ingredients like alcohol and glycerin.

The Flavor Guy has a special tip for flavoring. He believes the flavor should be palatable for about 3-5 seconds and then go away. You don’t want the flavor to linger too long.

When flavoring coffee and tea commercially, it best to use gloves. But if it’s just for yourself, it’s safe to use your hands. Plus it leaves your hands smelling really good for a couple of days.

Mix the beans a few times to really incorporate the flavor. Once you feel they’re ready, place the flavored beans into a baggy or air-tight container for a couple of hours or overnight.

When you open the container the scent from the flavor will be noticeable and wonderful.

Once your beans have settled, they’re ready to enjoy!

The Flavor Guy likes his coffee with some half & half and a bit of SweetenFX, our proprietary blend of debitterized stevia and erythritol.
