Teriyaki Smash Burger Tacos
Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 4 Flour Tortillas Small
- 4 slices Pepper Jack Cheese
- 2 cups Teriyaki Sauce
- Shredded Lettuce
- Red Onions
- 1 Ib Ground Beef
- 1/4-1/2 tsp Organic Pineapple Flavor concentrate
Instructions
- Add the ground beef, salt, pepper, and garlic powder and rice vinegar in a large mixing bowl. Wear gloves and use your hands to combine the flavoring with the ground beef.
- Once combined, divide and roll the patties to golf size balls that weigh about 2 ounces.
- Prepare your tortillas, cheese, sauce, and the remaining ingredients. Place a griddle on high heat—season and oil up the griddle. Lightly cook your tortillas and set aside.
- Place the patties onto the griddle and space each patty out with room to spread. After cooking the patties for 1-2 minutes, place the tortilla on the top and smash it down with a press or spatula. You’ll want the patty to be very thin so both sides are cooked.
- Allow the patties to cook for another 2-3 minutes or until the color of the beef has darkened and it’s crisp on the bottom.
- Once done, slide your spatula under the patty and flip the taco. Be sure not to sear the tortilla; just add a nice crisp to the other side of the tortilla.
- Pre-melt your cheese slice on the griddle for 10 to 15 seconds before placing the slightly melted cheese slice on top of the cooked patty.
- Remove your burger taco from the griddle and top with shredded lettuce, red onions, and teriyaki sauce. Enjoy!
