Happy Thursday friends! We’re thrilled to be sharing @anotherfoodpic Vanilla Pretzel Cupcake recipe! Andrea and Ray, the awesome couple behind @anotherfoodpic, are total foodies. Despite having very busy schedules, Andrea and Ray still find time to bake! They shared their delicious recipe with us so here we are. Let’s begin!

Ingredients
Cupcakes
- All-purpose flour (1 ½ cups)
- Baking powder (1 teaspoon)
- Salt (½ teaspoon)
- Softened butter (½ cup)
- Granulated sugar (1 cup)
- Eggs (2 large eggs)
- Nature’s Flavors Natural Horchata Extract (1 teaspoon)
- Nature’s Flavors Natural Vanilla Extract (1 teaspoon)
- Whole milk (½ cup, or preferred milk)

Cream Cheese Frosting
- Softened unsalted butter (½ cup)
- Softened cream cheese (8 ounces)
- Nature’s Flavors Natural Vanilla Extract (1 teaspoon)
- Powdered sugar (4 cups)
To garnish
- Nature’s Flavors Natural Chocolate Syrup
- Pretzels

The Breakdown
Cupcakes
- Begin by preheating your oven to 350°.
- Prep your cupcake trays with cupcake liners.
- In a medium bowl, sift the flour and the baking powder together and mix. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix the softened butter, sugar, and salt until all the ingredients are well combined.
- Slowly, add one egg at a time and mix.
- Add Nature’s Flavors Natural Vanilla Extract and Nature’s Flavors Natural Horchata Extract.
- Add half of the dry ingredients into the wet mixture and mix until everything is well combined.
- Slowly add in the milk and mix.
- Now, add the other half of the dry ingredients into the mixture and mix, mix, mix!
- Evenly distribute the batter into each cupcake liner (½ full).
- Bake the cupcakes for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove the cupcakes from the oven and allow them to cool on a baking tray for 15 minutes before icing.
Cream Cheese Frosting
- In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and the softened butter. Mix until smooth.
- Add in the powdered sugar and mix for 2 minutes.
- Add in Nature’s Flavors Natural Vanilla Extract and Nature’s Flavors Natural Horchata Extract.
Prep
- Once your cupcakes have cooled, ice each cupcake using an icing pipe.
- Drizzle some of Nature’s Flavors Natural Chocolate Syrup and top it off with a pretzel!
